  1. Elana, Your video was very well put together! It was easily read and not to fast! Good job! Or families are very similar in the aspects of their values. Thank you for sharing!!

  2. I learned that you are a baltimore raven fan which upset me LOL. Your family is awesome and i like that they are adventurous, the pictures of everyone playing in the snow reminded me of my family. Your story was great, I thought it had a lot of great pictures and kept my interest. Honestly, I wouldn't change too much about your story, you did an excellent job!!

  3. The best thing about your digital story is the way that the text moves. It emphasizes the meaning behind the words. The puppy, Preston, was cute. I'm assuming that was him pictured in the story. The only thing I might do in order to make this better is to provide a link to watch the video on YouTube. Some of the project was hidden because of your Blog Theme/Layout. The video was just barely hidden behind the column that stretches down on the right side.
    Very good music. Nice job.

  4. From your video I have learned that you adore your family. Your compare and contrast of city life and country heritage was excellent! Sad you're a Ravens fan, but we can over look that! (just kidding) You pointed to a dog that you lost and I can connect with that! Your pictures were very vibrant and demonstrated the passion in your life. Very nice work!

  5. Elana,
Wow! What a great story. I think you did a wonderful job in giving us an insight into how you became the person that you are today. I loved your photos! They were very clear and appropriate. Even though you are a Ravens fan, I won't hold that against you lol. I already knew that you were caring and compassionate and your video just reinforced that fact about you. The only thing that I saw that may need a litle of your attention is that on one of your slides I think that the word extreme is misspelled, you might want to check on that though because it could have just been my poor tired eyes. Great work Elana!

  6. Your music matched your story perfect. I have never heard of the city that your from but you represent it very well in your story. It looks amazing. I am also a true mountaineer and a family man. I become a ravens fan twice a year, and that is when they play the steelers. EATSH**PITT

  7. One thing I learned about you is you love to try new things and be adventurous.
Your family is different than mine because the people in my family are HUGE Steelers fans!
The best thing about your digital story is the way you show that you come from a big city and a small town. I liked that you showed both sides of your life.
    Very nice work!!

  8. Something I learned about you is that you are also from Maryland and that life there is a lot different than it is here. It's awesome that you've been able to experience both and still love country living.
I really like the way you split text to the left and right of pictures so that it was easy to read, and the music was nice.

    Good job :)

    1. Thanks Calla! I am most definitely a country girl but not a stranger to the city.

  9. I really liked this you are proud of who you are and seem very confident in all the things you do and this quality is hard to come by. You show the best of the big city and the country life. Great story

  10. Great job, I learned a lot about you, such as you are from Baltimore and I have a picture almost exactly like the one where you are sledding.

  11. So I guess it's not cool to be a Raven's fan. What about being a Packer's fan!? :)

I really enjoyed learning about your ability to be a country mouse AND a city mouse! I loved the ending, your words, music and images weaved together perfectly to remind us of why it is important to know and be proud of where we are from!
