DAY TWENTY-SEVEN: April 27th

I learned many things while searching for information on the internet today, however, one specific event caught my attention and curiousity. I learned today that the interent contains falsely made sites in order to teach children about the internet. I think this is a brilliant idea because there is too much information on the internet and students need to know how to discover good/true information from bad/false. I was intrigued that educators and others came together and spent so much time to make sites like these, but they are such a great learning tool! I believe this activity related most to standard 4a; Promote and Model Digital Citizenship and Responsibility: advocate, model, and teach safe, legal, and ethical use of digital information and technology, including respect for copyright, intellectual property, and the appropriate documentation of sources.
